There are many landmarks in Naples that should be on any visitors bucket list, but the one at the top should be Tin City. Located right off of 5th Ave S in downtown Naples, this historic Old Naples waterfront structure offers everything from shopping and dining to exciting water activities. If you look carefully, you can find old architecture from when it was used only as a fishing dock. Fishermen used to bring their fresh gulf catch into Tin City to be processed before it was shipped up north on the railroad.
When you visit this rustic waterfront destination we recommend you check out all the shops! There are local artisans like Wax and Beyond making beautiful candles and Best Gift Idea Ever with their unique photo signs. You can also find homemade treats at Monkey Bread and ice cream at M&M's Cafe (my husband used to stop there at least once a week when he was working off of 5th Ave). And my personal favorite, Naples Soap Co, has some of the most aromatic and relaxing bath products you'll find.
For dining you can get fresh local seafood at Pinchers or Riverwalk! Both restaurants offer a view of the docks where you can watch boats packed with eager adventurers heading out to sea. Check out our blog on Pinchers here!
While you're there you can also book an excursion with Pure Florida! They offer every experience from relaxed nature tours to exciting speed boat rides! We recommend taking your whole family on a trip aboard the Double Sunshine!
Take a look of some of the pictures I got while I was there, and don't forget to use #pctvnaples when you post your own!
