The Founders
Larry and Cecily Lancit founded Paradise Coast TV in January of 2010 to bring Paradise Coast Tour Video (formerly Visitors TV Network) to Southwest Florida. Tour Video, the brainchild of Will Howard, Cecily's cousin, serves 17 cities along the east coast of the US with information for visitors about where to go, what to do, and where to eat. It is seen on a dedicated channel in hotels of the host city. Starting with 4 hotels in 2010, the Lancits expanded their service and now are seen in 38 hotels with over 5000 hotel rooms in Southwest Florida from Marco Island to Estero as Paradise Coast TV. Their program plays on a one hour loop 24/7 and delivers interesting and useful information to our area's visitors about Southwest Florida's natural beauty, its activities and restaurants. Paradise Coast TV offers each hotel the opportunity to offer it's guests video information about the hotel and all the wonderful and exciting things to do while visiting our area.
On January 1, 2012, Paradise Coast TV debuted it's new community website, Paradise Coast.TV, which brings similar but expanded service to the entire Southwest Florida residential and commercial community. Paradise Coast.TV offers not only all the current information now available only in our hotel network, but new and expanded service including shopping information, construction and home services, automobile services, movie time clock, updated weather and marine forecasts, local and national news headlines, stock quotes, business location information, community events and happenings, houses of worship guide and much more. Paradise Coast.TV will also be available on mobile devices and IPADs so that wherever you are you can tap into the weatlh of information that will be available literally at your fingertips.
The Lancits bring over 30 years of media experience to this effort, having won over 200 awards for their television programming including 16 Emmy Awards for their successful PBS series Reading Rainbow. Paradise Coast TV and Paradise Coast.TV enable Larry and Cecily to continue to bring the best in televised and interactive media to the citizens and visitors of our area.
